About me

I am an internationally known photographer from Moscow, now living in Los Angeles. Over 15 years of professional work I have done major magazine covers and hundreds of couples and boudoir sessions. Because of my traditional, romantic style I have been very pleased and honored to have been asked to teach Master Classes in Moscow, Nuremberg, Rome, London, Prague, Santorini and many other cities.

I love what I do and I especially love working with both professional and non-professional models. A good photograph is a combination of lighting, framing, costume, make-up and many other elements, but a GREAT photograph is one that captures a moment of expression — seduction, exuberance, romance, adoration, whimsy, and so on — on the face of the subject. My experience has been that this is virtually impossible without establishing trust and cheerfulness between model and photographer. I believe that my ability to put people at ease with themselves, the camera and photographer is the single most important element of my professional success.
